The Dr. Bruce Baker AAC Evaluation Center
Speech-Language Pathologists, alongside occupational and physical therapists at Bridgeway Therapy Center, provide individualized AAC evaluations (augmentative alternative communication) to assess the communication needs of children and adults with limited verbal communication skills. Our evaluating therapists are highly trained and experienced with a variety of AAC systems and users. We are committed to an interdisciplinary and clinically holistic approach to evaluating potential candidates for their personalized AAC systems.
Get a Personal Communication Device
If you are interested in obtaining a personal communication device for yourself, a child, or an adult to support the individual’s language and/or communication, please complete this form. After completing the form, you can expect a phone call from a staff member within 1-2 weeks who will ask some additional screening questions and set up resources and dates for the AAC Evaluation.

Our evaluating team also offers virtual AAC evaluations if it is necessary and appropriate for the client. For additional information on this option, please fill out our initial intake form and an SLP will discuss this option with you over the phone.
